To study the vastness of space, you need extra-large equipment! Travel to the southern hemisphere and explore Chile’s giant telescopes. Meet some of the many people with diverse backgrounds, talents and skills needed to run these world-class observatories. This award-winning planetarium show is narrated by Chilean astronomer Barbara Rojas-Ayala.
This 45-minute show is recommended for adults and children ages 8 and up. Big Astronomy is a collaboration between several major planetariums and observatories and is supported by the U.S. National Science Foundation (Award #: 1811436).
All Theater, Campus Life & Planetarium ticket purchases are subject to a $1.50 processing fee on this website. Limited tickets will be available for purchase at the Planetarium doors.

Edge of Darkness Planetarium Show General Admission
Edge of Darkness
Select Fridays at 9:00 p.m. and Saturdays at 3:30 pm
Recommended for adults and children ages 8+; 45 minutes
Edge of Darkness features amazing scenes of places never seen before. It features a spectacular flight though the great cliffs on comet 67P, to the asteroid belt for a close look at the fascinating icy crust of Ceres, and then out to the fascinating dwarf planet Pluto and its moons. Narrated by Hayley Atwell, Agent Carter, from the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
This 45-minute show is recommended for adults and children ages 8 and up.

In the Heights General Admission
In the Heights is a musical with concept, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and a book by Quiara Alegría Hudes. The story is set over the course of three days, involving characters in the largely Dominican American neighborhood of Washington Heights in Upper Manhattan, New York City.

One Sky Planetarium Show Admission

OneSky: Sky Stories from Around the Globe
Select Fridays at 7:30 pm and Saturdays at 2:00 pm
Recommended for Children (ages 6+); 40 minutes
From the earliest days, people around the world have looked to the heavens for navigation, timekeeping, and a sense of shared identity. The One Sky Project is an international collaboration which created a series of short full dome planetarium films, each representing the perspective of a different culture from around the globe. The show includesa story about Orion from the Greeks, the Thunderbird from the Navajoand the great Celestial Canoe from the Innu people of Northern Canada. The show also explores how Hawaiians used the sky as a compass for their voyages throughout the Pacific Ocean.
This 40-minute children's show is recommended for kids ages 6 and up and includes a brief tour of the night sky and planets.

¡AQUÍ ESTAMOS! – WE ARE HERE! GENERAL ADMISSION
The celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month culminates with the energetic “¡AQUÍ ESTAMOS! – WE ARE HERE!” performance on Saturday, October 12 at 7 p.m. in Dragonetti Auditorium. An entertaining evening of theater, live music, poetry, dance and more to celebrate local Latino talent while supporting CCM’s College Promise Programs which provide college readiness to middle and high school students. Sponsored by the college’s Office of Educational Opportunity and Cultural Engagement, tickets are $20 for the community, $10 for CCM students, staff and faculty
